CHRISTMAS REVELS

• The Christmas Revels is produced in twelve American cities by non-profit organizations that promote seasonal and communal events through traditional music, stories, dance and songs. Revels was started in Cambridge, Massachusetts by John Langstaff, and the Revels cities now includes eleven others around the US. As featured performers for the Northlands Christmas Revels, along with Norwegian dancers from Telemark Karin Brennesvik,Tom Lovli and Sigbjorn Rua, the Karelian Folk Music Ensemble performed in Cambridge MA in 1993, Houston TX- 1995, Washington DC-1996, Portland OR and Tacoma WA-1997, New York City NY and Hanover,NH -1998 and Oakland CA -1999. Music from this show is included on the CD "To Drive the Dark Away".

• Christmas Revels Northland Show is back!
KFME took part in this beautiful production again in December 2005.
The place was the same as in 1998 - Lisner Auditorium of George Washington University in Washington D.C.
8 shows for over 10 000 people! Great performers and cast, nice audiences!

Christmas revels Nordic show continued in Houston,Texas in 2006.
Revels New York City invited KFME again to join their Nordic show in December,2007. It was much fun to oerform at the Peter Norton Symphony Space on Broadway!
Revels Portland,Oregon wants KFME also for the Nordic show in December,2008 !
